Who is the ICRA and what do we do to help our industry? The Independent Car Rental & P2P Association or ICRA is a global business/industry trade association for all who work in the independent car rental and P2P industry. This includes, but is not limited to private rental companies, P2P car rental hosts, suppliers, and vendors who offer both products and services to the industry and our members. This association was formed to support members from our industry from all parts of the globe, this is why our website is: worldicra.com. We have nearly 2000 members operating in all markets providing rental car rental options to business and vacation travelers, as well as anyone who may enjoy cars, trucks, SUV’s, as well as exotic cars and muscle cars. Many of our members are car enthusiasts themselves and offer a great alternative for renters (their guests) who want an alternative to the big rental car companies. Some even “specialize” in certain types of vehicles, such as Jeeps or exotic sports cars. Many of our members may have started in this industry, simply to subsidize lost revenue due to Covid lay-offs, health reasons, or needed an avenue to increase their income, for various reasons. Many found this new industry and way of growing revenue and increasing income to allow them the freedom to leave corporate life and become an entrepreneur. There are many reasons why folks across our planet have moved this direction, paving the way to new income and wealth. Why I Should become a member? Dues are very inexpensive starting at just $70/year. Much of the dues and sponsorship revenue is used to support our ongoing lobby efforts. Gain access to discounted services & solutions as well as a significant discounts to attend the International Car Rental Show (ICRS). ICRA members save $200 on ICRS registrations. Members will share and gain access to significant discounts, valuable news, and legislative information and updates that may affect their business. But collaboration is the key to member success, and this website provides a secure "member only" platform to connect with other members and industry experts to find solutions to challenges you may seek. Dues are also used for marketing and awareness for our industry car rental/member hosts, education, technology, and also provides a common platform for our members to discuss business challenges that affect their markets and chapters. Our power as a collective and focused organization will come from our strength in numbers, as we work together with a “Member First” focus, to better our industry and trade in a defined and collective but highly professional manner. |
